Announcing a new Meetup for Minnesota Atheists Meetup Group!

What: Flying Spaghetti Monster Dinner - Como Park Midway Pavilion - May 31 4 p.m.

When: May 31,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: As the Flying Spaghetti Monster commands, Minnesota Atheists gather for spaghetti, salads, and dessert on the fifth Sunday, whenever the calendar offers one.

Come bring yourself and only $6.66 for all you can eat delights. Food will be ready around 4:30, but you can come early to help out, or just mingle.

There is a huge park near by to burn off all of those carbs with a game of ultimate frisbee, or bocce ball. Bring the kids!

This time, we will have much more space to move around, with as many as 125 other atheists. Don't be shy! Also, we have the pavilion available until 10 p.m., for those atheists who find themselves deep in conversation about Star Trek, BSG, or Lost.

If you have never met other atheists, this is a great event for new people. While there may be a big crowd, there will be plenty of leaders of the group mingling around and introducing each other. Who knows? You may meet the future Mr. or Mrs. Atheist!

We need people to bring food, including spaghetti sauce, salad and dessert. Please leave a note in your RSVP comments about what you'd like to bring to share. Don't worry if you can't bring anything. There are also two grills available, if someone felt compelled to blaspheme the FSM with hot dogs, roasted corn, or hamburgers, we won't stop you.

I look forward to meeting you there!

Bjorn Watland
