Announcing a new Meetup for Minnesota Atheists Meetup Group!

What: Job Search Networking & Support Group - Oct. 7, noon, Augsburg Park Library

When: October 7,[masked]:00 PM

Where:
Augsburg Park Library
7100 Nicollet Avenue
Richfield, MN 55423
[masked]

Are you a reethinker/bright/atheist/humanist who is un/underemployed or otherwise 'in transition', and interested in a support group that combines networking with relevant presentations and discussions on topics that may include how to be most effective with interviewing, employment applications and other elements of the job search?

I'm starting a group for the freethinker/bright/atheist/humanist community. Most of the other job support groups in the area are church sponsored. Let's provide coaching, support and expertise to our own community!

I'm an industrial organizational psychologist with HR experience and expertise in coaching others in aspects of the job search and yes, I'm 'in transition' myself. I'm getting the group started and willing to organize and schedule the meetings as well as present some topics. Once we get going I'd love to have this group be member driven and collaborative.

This first meetup will include introductions, discussion about future topics and meeting times, and some extra
time to just talk about our experience with job transition. I'd like to keep it very practical and small enough to provide individual help member to member.

There's plenty of free parking in the library lot, and the meeting room I've reserved is easy to find. Just look to the right upon entering the library.

Please RSVP for the meetup and if you have any questions or comments you can reach me at [address removed] (Erica Klein). I look forward to our first meeting on Wednesday, October 7, noon-2pm at Augsburg Park Library, 7100 Nicollet Avenue in Richfield.
