Together with our friends from Nardoz, we host a meetup this Thursday:
18.30 - Arrival, networking
19.00 - The importance of asking questions - Daniela Fedyakin, full-stack developer
The questions you ask shape the knowledge you get. We all hear that communication is the key and the solution to almost everything, but when it comes to learning, especially in the dev field with many opportunities to get to talk to experienced and skilled people, - how do you get the most out of it? Based on my experience as a newbie in tech I will be sharing how important it is to ask questions and to phrase them in the right way in order to get the best answer.
19.30 - Break
19.40 - Microservices: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Luis Farzati, software architect
Moving to microservices may be a very challenging journey that brings up a whole new set of problems. After working with this architectural pattern for almost 2 years, Luis will share the pain points and difficulties of dealing with microservices as well as the immediate benefits you can expect from them.
