  • We have a no limit hold'em poker tournament every night at 7 pm at 3550 Wolfedale Road, regardless of the number of players that show up. We always have at least 8 players and most Tuesdays it's always over 20. Total cash prizes on a monthly basis is around $10,000 and some of the daily prizes have been as high as $680.

All GOLD MEMBERS for $30/month can start all poker games with a risk factor of  " 0 " and potentially share in a prize of a minimum of $160  plus all rebuys if they place in the tournament when 8+ players make it past the 4th round.

Where else can you get a similar deal ? Pay $30/month and get all the GOLD MEMBER BENEFITS plus get a free shot at $10000 monthly cash prizes. At least 20% of the winners haven't put in a penny.

My name is Bill Efremidis and my email is  [masked]

MPT ' s objective is to create an environment where poker players or wannabe poker players can minimize risk of loss while maximizing playing time and potential rewards.

MPT offers on a daily basis at 7 pm a FUN POKER TOURNAMENT where all players start with 3000 chips at no cost.

On all Tuesdays and Thursdays, MPT offers all participants free entry and any time we have 16 or more players past the 4th round, the winner will receive a FREE month's GOLD MEMBERSHIP plus share in prize pool.

GOLD MEMBERSHIP normally sells for $30/month and gets you:

    - FREE movie rentals from over 9000 dvd's

    - FREE pool  ( 3 pool tables )

    - FREE wi-fi

    - FREE daily 7 pm FUN POKER TOURNAMENT where if 8 + players start, MPT will guarantee a prize of $160 cash + all rebuys.

FUN POKER NLH TOURNAMENT as played by MPT is defined as follows:

We start at 7 pm SHARP with 3000 chips given to each GOLD MEMBER at no cost. If you arrive at least by 6:55 pm, we will give you an extra 500 chips.

If you come before the 1st ( 15 minute ) round is over, you will still get your 3000 chips ( minus blinds ). If you come during the 2nd round, your remaining 3000 chips (minus blinds ) will  cost you $10. If you come during the 3rd round, your remaining 3000 chips (minus blinds ) will cost you $20. If you come during the 4th round, your remaining 3000 chips ( minus blinds ) will cost you $30. All these extra's go directly to the final prize.

MPT does not really want to penalize participants but hopefully discourage tardiness. WE WANT TO START OUR GAME SHARP AT 7 PM.

During the 1st 4 rounds ( 15 minute each ) each player is allowed an option to rebuy 3000 chips, twice, if they tap out, for $20 for each rebuy. These rebuys go to the prize pool.

At the end of the 4th round, each player that still has chips will have the option to top up 6000 chips for $20. When there are less than 8 players left after the 4th round, all rebuys and top ups go to the WINNER but if there are 8 or more players still remaining after the 4th round, MPT will kick in an extra $160 cash to the prize pool BUT all 1st top ups go to THE TOP UP FUND that finances the $160 cash guarantee by MPT. If there are more than 16 players remaining after the 4th round, MPT will kick in ( N x $10) to prize pool. So, if 35 players got past the 4th round MPT would kick in  $350 to the prize pool regardless of optional rebuys or top ups purchased.  All top up participants have one further option for $20 to top up a second time as long as they still have chips until the end of the 2nd break after the 8th round for 10 x BB. All 2nd top ups go to the winner. So, as you can see, the object of the game is to get past the 4th round with chips, because this is where the real game starts. The 1st 4 rounds are meant as an introduction to the real game.

    After the 4th round, if we have less than 1 table, top prize is 100%, if we have 2 tables 70 - 30, 3 tables 50 - 30 - 20 and 4 tables or more 40 -30 -20 - 10.

Theoretically, you can win $$$ without putting in a dime. In the last month, we've played a poker tournament every day with a prize of between $200 - $400 cash to the winner. Some of these winners didn't even put in a dime.

DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOOD ENOUGH ?

Even, if you don't think you're good enough, what's the risk. The main question is, " DO YOU ENJOY PLAYING POKER ? "

IF SO, WE'LL SEE YOU ON TUESDAY OR THURSDAY BEFORE 6:55 PM.

As of mid April we decided to start a BAD BEAT with A-A-A-J-J  as low hand which was won by Andree on May 23 for a BAD BEAT PRIZE of $380 losing with 4'Q 's against a straight flush. Andree is a regular recreational player that plays for fun but enjoys winning cash. DO YOU ?

Just as an aside, on Tuesday Feb.9, first time player Clarke, won $340 with no rebuys or top ups. He came back 2 days later and won another $140.

PLAYING POKER IS FUN AND THAT'S WHY WE CALL IT  " FUN POKER ".

    I'm sure Clarke had fun.

Today is Sept.28 and the BAD BEAT is $890 and is only played when we have at least 8 players that start playing hold'em and all players that want to participate in the BAD BEAT must pay $1 to qualify for BAD BEAT or BAD BEAT qualifier.

In order to make the game a little more competitive and challenging we play 4 different games. On Mon., Wed., and Fri. we play hold'em with a little twist, requiring all players to pre-pay $20 for the[masked]st TOP UP. If the player still has chips at the end of the 4th round he may ask for his $20 back and obviously not receive the 6000 chips. On Tues. (hold'em) and Thurs. (Omaha) it's just a regular free-roll. On Sat. all players are required to pre-pay $20 for the[masked]st TOP UP but will not have an option to get it back like Mon.,Wed.,Fri.

It's a real challenge to operate a poker game on a daily basis so if there is anyone out there that would like to contribute any idea or two, you are welcomed.
