What we're about

If you want to be a better public speaker and leader, you must visit one of our meetings to experience what Lakeview Toastmasters can offer you.

Toastmasters International (TI) is a nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide for the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Through its thousands of member clubs, Toastmasters International offers a program of communication and leadership projects designed to help men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking.

Lakeview Toastmasters is a fully charted Toastmasters International club located downtown Mississauga. Our club meets once every two weeks at the Mississauga Central Library to allow its members to practice their public speaking and leadership skills in the company of like-minded individuals. Club membership is diverse: the doors are open for everyone looking to improve themselves and so there are people from all walks of life present at every meeting. When you decide to drop by you will instantaneously feel the warm and supporting atmosphere that we try to cultivate -- a key component for many to get enough courage to start speaking publicly.
