Demo: Deploying AKS Store Application using Azure Open AI
Roy Kim will show case the deployment of a microservices based Online Store application and Azure Open AI on an Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) cluster. Roy will show a deep dive of the Kubernetes YAML configuration of the AI service, the Python code and its use the Semantic Kernel. The objective it to show a realistic scenario of how the technology stack comes together.

Callon Campbell is an Azure Architect, Developer and Microsoft MVP in Azure. With over 25 years of experience, he's been developing enterprise applications for web, desktop, mobile, and cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. He's passionate about learning new technologies and sharing his experience with fellow peers in the community. Callon is also the organizer of “Canada’s Technology Triangle .NET User Group” in Kitchener, Ontario. Roy Kim is a Solutions Architect and developer focused on Azure and Microsoft 365. In recent years, has been supporting designing and building solutions in Azure for large enterprise. This includes building terraform modules, Python applications with Azure SDK and general deploying of Azure resources. He holds a BS in computer science degree from the University of Toronto.
