BREAKFAST BOOK CLUB - MISSISSAUGA

Breakfast Book Club

BOOK FOR MARCH IS -A Trick of Light by Louise Penny

The April 28th meeting will discuss An Anthropologist on Mars.

Sorry about the mix up but this is the first time I am hosting. I am on a steep learning curve to arranging the events on the site.

What could be better than books and breakfast

This is a new opportunity to meet members with the same interest.

The Breakfast Book Club will be meeting once a month, at 10:30, in various locations for the Mississauga , Brampton and Burlington members.

The hostess will be choosing the books. The series of books will be posted and all you book lovers can attend monthly events. This is an opportunity to expand our social events and keep connected with all the members.

As a group we will select one book to read each month and share our ideas and impressions of that book.

The books selected are - March 24 - A Trick of Light Louise Penny

April 28 - An Anthropologist on Mars - Oliver Sacks

May 26 - The Tipping Point - Malcolm Gladwell

June 30 - We Need to Talk about Kevin - Lionel Shriver

July 28 - The Book of Negroes - Lawrence Hill

August 25 - We will select five books for the next five months

The discussion will be lead by Naomi. Thank you Naomi for running this great event and your dedication to the members. I will be dropping by on occasion to say hi.

Great sounding books and I do love to read although I don't get much opportunity to do it just for fun. Unfortunately, at that time on Sundays I have other committments. S..o..r..r....y........
