Waterworks Hill. A description of the hike is on page 63 in the Robert Stone book. The hike is about 2.5 miles. Most of the hike is fairly flat, but there is one switchback and one fairly steep descent. There is no shade so wear sunscreen and bring water. Spectacular views. To get to the trailhead go North on Madison Street, which turns into Greenough Drive. Just past the interstate is a dirt road on the left that takes you up to the trailhead. Trail is dog friendly.
