Announcing a new Meetup for Twin Cities Music Buffs!

What: !!! THIS FRI/SAT, Sep 10-11, Suicide Commandos, Orchestra, etc. @ festival FREE

When: Friday, September 10,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Mears park
221 E 5th St
st. paul, MN 55101

!!! THIS FRI/SAT, Sep 10-11, Suicide Commandos, Dessa, Orchestra, etc. at festival FREE !!!

Where: Mears Park, downtown St. Paul
(easy access/exit, just a few blocks off of 94 in downtown St. Paul near Farmer?s Market)

When: This Friday and Saturday, September 10-11
Friday from 5-10pm
Saturday from noon-10pm

Cost: FREE!!!!!

I?ll be there for most, if not all on both days (there's also music at individual neighborhood clubs on Thursday night noted on the website schedule I may attend). I CAN?T WAIT for Suicide Commandos closing the fest on Saturday night (preceded by Communist Daughter, a previous Meetup I organized)!!! Another huge draw will surely be Dessa (from Doomtree) closing Friday night, who is all the rage right now. I?ve absolutely LOVED the past performances at this festival with the Opera (Friday at 5pm) and the Chamber Orchestra (Saturday at 4pm).

Since it?s a park, shoot me a text or call and we all can meet up: [masked]. Mears Park is a beautiful, small park so you can?t miss the bandshell -- & nice to walk around the water fall and check out the beautiful flowers. Parking is pretty good in Saint Paul (though my perspective is from Chicago), but if you have troubles I can guide you. I don?t think they allow coolers, with yummy food and beverage already for sale. They have some seating but you may wish to bring a blanket or chairs. There?s also Barrio, Bulldog, Faces, Bin, and other restaurants across the street from the park.
