Mindfulness Practice
Experience has taught us that people often need support in establishing their own Mindfulness practice or once they have established their practice, enjoy a regular practice in the company of like minded others. It's just nicer that way! Mindfulness drop in sessions support you wherever you are in your Mindfulness practice. The sessions give you the opportunity to practice with like minded others. You may be a complete beginner, have completed an 8 week course, or developed your own practice at home. Which may or may not have lapsed.. Come and see if this is the place for you. What should I expect the session to include? Sessions usually start with a practice of about 30 – 40 minutes, followed by a short discussion. There is then a break during which tea and coffee are provided. Followed by a short teaching on a point of Mindfulness Based Therapy. This is either something new, a recap for those who have completed an 8 week course, or a introduction for those who are new to Mindfulness. The session ends with a short practice, you are welcome to stay behind and ask questions. How much does it cost and do I need to book? It is helpful if you can let us know if your'e coming but not essential. Your first session is £5. If you decide drop-ins are for you subsequent sessions cost £8 or save money and bulk buy 10 for £65. What we're about

Moments of Mindfulness started running drop in sessions at the Barn, Highfield Farm in March 2016. Since then we have started to build a small group of regulars who come each week. Those who come range from newcomers to mindfulness and meditation, wanting to check out what it's about, through those who have just completed 8 week MBSR/MBCT mindfulness courses, to people who have practiced for years. What we all have in common is the knowledge that whilst mindfulness meditation is simple, it is not easy, and anyways it is much nicer and easier to practice as part of a friendly group.

We meet every Friday at 6pm. New Members always welcome!
