Are you searching for your Momtribe? Momtribe has 2 distinct missions: support and socialization. Support is offered through our weekly activities whether you have your kids with you or you have time to yourself that day, as well as through our message boards. Some of our Momtribe members work part-time or during the school year, "stay-at-home" full-time, have full-time jobs outside their home, and/or share their "spare" time serving the community.
We are all moms fiercely committed to raising our children in the best way we know how and continue to improve our perspectives through this Momtribe's support and socialization. Momtribe is a great way to meet other moms if you are new to the area, new to motherhood, or new to staying home full-time. Our activities are typically during the weekday with our children and evolve into some evening activities with just moms. We may also have weekend events such as walk-a-thons and support causes important to our members. We have a wide range of activities, for example: playdates, park playtimes, lunch bunches, mocha mornings, stroll 'n rolls, and field trips. Our moms participate as much or as little as their schedule allows.
Our message boards will discuss resources of all sorts: babysitters, house/life resources, swap or sell items, as well as meal and cooking support around the arrival of new babies.
We offer activities and support for moms in and around our area, but we do NOT have any geographic restrictions. We are not your typical Meetup group, but the Meetup app and website so far provides the best platform for Momtribe's communication and scheduling. Please join us if you have found your Momtribe here!
[We are in the start-up stage and figuring things out so the next details may not be applied now, but this is how we hope to soon function...]. In the near future, our Membership Coordinator will be in touch with you within a week (hopefully sooner!) with more details on how to officially get invited and signed up. All potential members are required to attend one of our events held in a public place prior to being invited to join our group. This is done to ensure the safety of our moms and our children. At the event you choose to meetup with our Momtribe, you can find out more about our group and meet other members. If you accept an invitation to join, you will be asked to pay annual dues and complete a liability form. After this process, you can officially join our Meetup website and get started in Momtribe!
