What we're about

We are a newly formed group bringing all levels of photographers together with the common goal to inspire, create, and educate. We will create a calendar of workshops, field trips, and events that will provide a venue for exploration into all aspects of the photography world. We will organize educational opportunities for the most basic to experienced photographer. Everyone interested in photography is welcome and encouraged to join us. We will meet on the third Wednesday of each month from 6-8pm at The Garage Cultural Center at 58 State Street, Montpelier, Vermont.

Through our field trips and workshops we want to help everyone reach their goals in photography. The workshops will be on varying topics such as using Lightroom, understanding your cameras settings, seeing light, composition, and understanding how to capture that image you have always dreamed about.

We will have workshops with experienced professionals on topics such as landscape, natural and artificial light, aerial, travel and street photography. We hope to bring topics that will inspire our group members.

The group will meet once a month on the 3rd Wednesday from 6-8pm and we will organized a field trip/theme once a month. Participants can either join in on the field trip if able or work on their own time. We would like to have everyone post on our meet up 4-5 images a month and the most votes will be presented to the group on that 3rd Wednesday meeting.

This should be a great way to meet new friends, discover photographic techniques and explore different ways to utilize your camera. Can't wait to meet you!
