Details

David Mason, Technologist at Talent Cloud, Treasury Board Secretariat of Canada, will give a brief overview of Verifiable Credentials, Linked Data, and Solid.

Valerie Thomas, Talent Mobility Lead at Talent Cloud, Treasury Board Secretariat of Canada, will present a use of Blockcerts for mobile skills exchange.

Dmitri Zagidulin, software engineer at Digital Bazaar and spec editor for the Solid Project, will give a technical overview of Verifiable Credentials in a decentralized world, including how people can host their own Solid pod for credential access.

Then we'll have an open discussion. We think this event would specifically be interesting for people working in government, education, human resources, and integration, as well as security and decentralized technology enthusiasts.
