    REMEMBER:

DO NOT bring regular flashlights....make sure they have a red or green filter on them (or get plastic wrap, color it red, and rubber band it over your flashlight). This helps preserve everyone's night vision!

    ALSO

Follow the directions they sent out, NOT what you get off a GPS, Google Maps, MapQuest, etc. I guarantee you WILL get lost!

    AND.........

Before heading into the park, stop at a gas station, McDonalds, etc and use the restroom! They had 1 porta-potty for 50+ people!

    ONE LAST THING.......

If you have to drop out, contact Rhonda [masked] or [masked]) because there is a WAITLIST to attend! (And If you're trying to find tickets, go to meetup look up the 4 groups that are going tomorrow and post at each one asking for someone's unwanted ticket)

I will have my cell, you can TRY texting me, but not sure how reception will be. [masked]-7296. Hope this helps answer questions!

I just got a message from Rhonda that they are at capacity! So if your plan's change and you can't go, post to see if someone wants to buy your ticket from you.

Because of the reschedule, I do not think the website has been updated. If you would still like to buy tickets contact Rhonda. Here is her info: call us back at[masked] or email our office manager Rhonda at [masked].

Also, last year they put out a basic map (because this place is hard to find). I just emailed her and asked if she still had it. If so, I will post it above. Also recommend carpooling as the parking lot is small, I know there are over 50 people going (from other sites), the 470 is the best way to get there, and this place is hard to spot in the dark!

We regret to inform you that Red Rocks Community College and our organization have determined that the program this evening will need to be cancelled. Our reschedule date is Thursday December 1st which works best for both parties involved. Your registration has automatically been moved to that date, however, if you cannot make that date, please feel free to call us back at[masked] or email our office manager Rhonda at [masked]. You may either donate your program fee to our Nature Center or you may receive a refund if you cannot make the December 1st. In order to be refunded, we do need to be in contact with you and receive verbal confirmation that you are not able to attend. There may be others who would like to attend the program in your place, so please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make it. Kate Hogan

make sure you pre-register and pay your money ahead of time. Last time there was some little show that you were supposed to watch, but I blended in with the students and got more telescope time.

DO NOT bring a regular flashlight, make sure it is red or green or covered in red cyclophane! Also, people got annoyed with head lamps last time (destroyed night vision)

And find this place and parking in the dark is a pain, suggest try to arrive early. Open to carpooling.
