Seeing Nobility in Ourselves and Others (Free Event)
Seeing Nobility in Ourselves and Others "Noble I made thee, wherewith dost thou abase thyself? Out of the essence of knowledge I gave thee being, why seekest thou enlightenment from anyone beside Me? Out of the clay of love I molded thee, how dost thou busy thyself with another? Turn thy sight unto thyself, that thou mayest find Me standing within thee, mighty, powerful and self-subsisting." - Baha'i Writings Join a different kind of conversation - one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the truths that unite us. Let's look deeper at the concept of nobility. If we believe we were created noble, this belief impacts every choice we make in our lives. How do we live up to the inherent nature of our creation? Please join us for a discussion on the spiritual perspective offered by the Baha'i teachings on what nobility is and how we can see all that is noble in ourselves and in every member of the human race. How do we practice nobility? How can we build communities that are grounded in an inherent acknowledgement of the nobility of every human soul?

    What we're about

This is a new group that some of my friends and I are creating dedicated to creating unity and justice in our community through fostering, cultivating, elevating, and promoting spirituality and peace through discussion, the arts and community service in our neighborhoods. We aim to host meetups that uplift, inspire and give expression to the human spirit. We welcome a diverse community from all backgrounds and create spaces for community members of all ages that facilitate elevated conversation, inquiry, consultation and learning. As we grow together and learn from one another we hope to build bridges of unity and respect for all humanity.
