NOSFERATU!! Creepy!

I like scary movies!!  I've been glued to TCM and AMC this week, re-watching all of my favorite cheesy 'B' movies in the horror genre.  But "Nosferatu" is a grade-A classic!  Read more:

BUY YOUR OWN TICKET(S) through the Rafael Theater website or at the box office.  Sign up to attend and I'll be looking for you in the lobby at 6:00.  If you just "show up," that's OK but I won't be expecting you and probably won't recognize you.  By arriving early we can probably all sit near each other.  I am not going to "save" seats inside the theater.  At the Rafael I like the first row!

After the movie I will be going next door to Aroma Cafe for a beverage and a bite (get it??), muahahahaha....I welcome your company!

LOOK FOR THIS SMILE, NOT A BLUE-FACED PLATINUM BLONDE!!!!

Great movie...got there in my devil costume, just before the movie started...due to traffic...No chance to mingle. I was with Sheena the mermaid, and Sir Laugh-a -lot (The knight who talks too much !)...had to cut out quick, to hit a party ending just after the movie.

Wow, it sounds like you and Sheena and Sir Laugh-a-lot could have added a really cool dimension to the group! Join us again when you can stay longer!

What an Amazing… Classic--- which I'm so Glad I saw with You guys!
Loved… seeing the original, old & re-placed celluloid--- and found
myself diving further into the mood, via the Terrific MUSIC/film score!
    (I was imagining my beloved, extremely talented step-grandmother, who played piano professionally, for many Silent Films--- when they didn't yet, have Talkies--- and today wondering, if she might have played for THIS particular film, if it was ever screened anywhere near where she lived, in Minneapolis? She would have loved… THIS score;
while she also, used to play professionally, over the radio… for devoted listeners, during some entertainment programming!) Great event---
and thanks to our lovely Organizer Linda, who thought of this fun, mid-week meet up, and even gave us name-tags! (The nosh & post-film
conversation, was fun too!) Until next time--- BOO 4 Your Halloween!

I'm very sorry, I cannot attend. I had a spinal fusion and am in a great deal of pain. I know this is considered bad bad but when I hurt this much sometimes I have to take care. I'm very very sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused. I have a disability which flares up. Very very sorry and hope you will understand.

I am a 4th row middle person. 3rd row in smaller theaters. Please do not sit directly in front of me or I will scare the crap out of you at all the creepy parts of the movie !!!!

Hi, I usually sit in the center mid-section, while sitting in the first row can also, be interesting, (depending on the subject & camera angles)!
That said, Linda does pick good front row seats; however, with this Scary movie, I may prefer not to sit in the front row! (Interestingly,
I sat in the front row, when I saw AVATAR in 3-D, and felt like I was
INSIDE the movie, & could touch the characters!) We shall see. :-0)

F.W. Murnau's 1922 take on Bram Stoker's Dracula. It has some innovative camera work and is basically one of the creepiest movies ever made. It was banned in some countries upon it's release. I look forward to seeing it on the big screen.
