What we're about
"When a mother dies, a daughter grieves. And then her life moves on. She does, thankfully, feel happiness again. But the missing her, the wanting her, the wishing she were still here -- I will not lie to you, although you probably already know. That part never ends." - Hope Edelman, Motherless Daughters
We are the last group you wanted to join, the one that none of us want a membership to. Referred to as Motherless Daughters because of the void that our first friend, our biggest cheerleader, and our guiding star has left in our hearts since her departure from this world.
This group is a safe space where women can reminisce and grieve among friends, there will be laughter AND tears!
We will meet monthly and each meeting will begin with a topic to help steer our discussion, but overall this group will focus on supporting one another.
Speaking from the heart, as much or as little, as you choose will be up to each individuals comfort levels.
