Marc Beauregard has six years of experience working and shooting models, learn more about his background in his meetup profile (to the right). He takes a uniquely creative slant in his work, which can be viewed on his website as well.

This workshop is for those who are comfortable shooting with a DSLR camera who want to learn the ins and outs of setting up a model shoot from planning to execution.

Marc will discuss model and location selection, wardrobe and makeup, props, appropriate equipment to bring and most importantly, lighting.

You will have an opportunity to shoot a model in an abandoned building in Detroit (location will be revealed only to workshop participants). Lighting equipment and model will be provided. Workshop participants will need to bring their own DSLR camera/lenses to shoot the model.

Marc will show you step-by-step how to set up your equipment, from where to set it up to how to position the lights for optimal lighting to meet your creative goal for the shoot. You will leave this workshop feeling confident in working with a model in an abandoned location.
