Please join us on a no drop multi surface ride (50/50 gravel and road) from zumwalts Bicycle center every first and third Saturday. Enjoy camaraderie while building endurance and gaining base miles (average 40 miles). We will meet at Zumwalts Bicycle center at 8:15am. Zumwalts is the the perfect place to pick up your biking essentials before or after your ride! Can't wait to see you out there!!
Welcome to the Beginner ride at Morley Field! Join us every Tuesday evening for a beginner paced ride around some of the best trails Balboa Park has to offer. New route every week! Even though we have changed our clocks ahead and have more daylight riding time, we will still have a 5:00pm start and will regroup at 6:00pm at the meetup spot, to pick up late arrivals. This ride goes on at the same time as the Tuesday Night Workout but is focused on having a fun ride rather than a suffer fest. It's a great way to get comfortable on your mountain bike, explore some fun trails and make new friends. This ride is weekly and is lead by Karen St.Geramin! Expect to make some new friends on this fun urban-ish trail system.
Quick and Dirty Mountain Bike ride at Mission Trails meets every Tuesday night at 5:15 in the Mast Blvd parking lot near the restrooms. The parking lot is right off Highway 52 at the Mast Blvd exit. Please notice where parking, the second gate closes at sunset. Workout starts promptly at 5:30 in the grasslands. Lights are required for the winter! We recommend 1,000 lumens (min) on your handlebars and 500 lumens (min) on your helmet. Rides and workouts are led by IMBA Certified MTB instructor, Jeff Meyer. Jeff is a great teacher and has helped many riders improve their Mountain Bike Skills over the years. Jeff has held a Pro XC license for 9 years and was also ranked in the top 50 in ABA & NBL BMX Nationally Ranked for several years as a youth. This ride is appropriate for intermediate level riders. Join Jeff as he shows you some of the trails that are used on the weekly Ninja Tuesday workouts as well as to get some miles under your wheels. *These rides are FREE and take place EVERY Tuesday. Meetup time is 5:15pm with the workout starting at 5:30pm Tuesday evenings, ending at 7:00.

Richard is a International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) Level II Skills Instructor and a USAC Certified Cycling Coach specializing in Mountain Biking. These workouts are as challenging as you'd like them to be. This not your typical mountain bike ride! Workouts vary from endurance, aerobic to anaerobic including efforts to increase your lactate threshold, Vo2Max and over all just make you FITTER, FASTER and STRONGER! *These workouts are FREE and take place EVERY Tuesday.
