Which aspects of mountaineering and backcountry sports are of most interest to you? -- (Hiking) (Backcountry Skiing) (Ice Climbing) (Rock Climbing) (Backpacking & Camping) ?

Hiking, Snowshoeing, Camping, Scrambling/Bouldering (but not too extreme)

What is your level of mountaineering experience or other backcountry skills? -- (Novice) (Beginner) (Intermediate) (Advanced) (Pro)? (Feel free to add some specifics):

So far only day hikes, I guess one of the longer hikes I have been one was Gothics, Upper, and Lower Wolfjaw in the dacks. That was about 16 miles, drove up early from Albany and then drove back. I have done a lot of archaeology so it was not uncommon to hike 10 or more miles for work in a day. Mostly that was in the desert, but I can handle steep inclines pretty well and enjoy being challenged!

What is your greatest achievement in the the mountains as of today?

Kahtadin, and some crazy winter days in the Adirondacks.

What is you "next" greatest goal? Touch some summit? Backpack a trail?

Start running up some mountains.

What was your most epic, trip that gives you the cold sweats in the middle of the night?

Haha, not necessarily cold sweats, but there were some sketchy parts scrambling around Joshua Tree for sure.

Looking to get up on the mountains! I have spent a lot of time outdoors, but don't really know anyone who is super into hiking...Mostly hiked in the Adirondacks, but was out in CA for three years, so did some out there.
