Silver Linings Playbook @ George Street

An offbeat little comedy about mental illness with Robert De Niro and 8 Oscar nominations. What's not to like?

"After a stint in a mental institution, former teacher Pat Solitano moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife. Things get more challenging when Pat meets Tiffany, a mysterious girl with problems of her own."

Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj5_FhLaaQQ

We will meet at the back of Event Cinema Set Bar (right past the ticket collection point). After the movie, we'll meet back at the same point to share opinions and perhaps have some drinks.

I'll be there around 18:00, wearing blue jeans and white shirt. Feel free to call or text [masked]) if you can't find the group.

If you want Debbie's discount tickets, please pay using paypal (PAY ONLINE NOW link above) before 4pm Friday.

Thanks for the company last night, guys. I had a good post-movie time. Silver Linings Playbook was great, fantastic performances by the cast, great soundtrack, spot-on sense of humour and an ending that perfectly matched the development of the plot. Oscar movies, so far:

    01. Silver Linings Playbook
    02. Argo
    03. Life of Pi
    04. Beasts of the Southern Wild
    05. Les Misérables

Hope to see you guys again.

    Cheers!

    Hi Peter,

People who paid by 4pm on Friday got a message from Debbie who runs this site:

"Hi Guys, I have booked for Nikita, Fonda, Mahta +1, Aliyah, Natasha & Margaret. You are in seats G9-G15 at the 6:30pm show. Please don't send any more money as I won't be checking the computer. Nikita will pick up the tickets from the box office. Cheers all, have fun. Deb. "

Given this, you could book a seat online close to (or even next to) seats G9-G15 for the 6.30pm session. Or just turn up and buy a ticket.

    Cheers
    Margaret
