What we’re about

Meet to walk the trails of Mt Gravatt with a community of likeminded people one step at a time one breath at a time one meaningful human connection at a time.

The group caters to walkers of medium fitess level and above. Thel walks are conducted on Mt Gravett, and being a "hill" there are limited flat areas for absolute beginners. The purpose of the walks is to provide a local community to exercise together and prepare fitness for more extreme bushwalking. We promote a commitment to health and well-being, utilizing a great natural resource and providing an opportunity for community building in the Mt Gravatt / Toohey Forest area. We explore terrain in the Mt Gravatt Recreational reserve and the Toohey Forest Reserve. At the moment we are walking for two hours at a moderate pace taking in many ridges and exploring off track routes and minor tacks.

A request is made that we walk the first part of the walk in silence, creating space and time to practice mindfulness of the present moment and a deep connection with the healing power of nature. After this gentle introduction to nature and each other the opportunity to connect through talking is welcomed.

Looking forward to introducing you to the magic of "The Hill". Jenn
