Wheeling For The Stars - In Memory of the Edwards Family
Join us for Wheeling for the Stars to benefit the Williams Syndrome Association in honor of the Edwards Family. More information, including sign ups, will be released shortly but please mark you calendars for a fun day of wheeling at AOAA to benefit an amazing charity. The day will end with raffles from vendors like Quadratec and we will have tshirts with the event logo on them for sale. -All- profits go to the Williams Syndrome Association. On July[masked], Julie Burton Edwards and her three children Jacob, Brinley and Paxton were taken this world well before their time in a tragic murder-suicide. Jacob, widely known for his affection for "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"m was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at a young age and Julie was very active in that community trying to raise awareness and funds. Julie and children were members of an even larger family...the Jeep community. She was a long time member of Delaware Jeep Association and her brother, Will Burton, is a member of Infidel Jeepers and others. This event is to help further Williams Syndrome research in memory of the Edwards family. Trail fees for the day are $40 per vehicle with -no- additional costs for passengers. At least $10 per vehicle will be donated to Williams Syndrome Association. https://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/local/2018/07/12/delaware-mom-killed-murder-suicide-member-national-nonprofit/775338002/ Tickets available at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/wheeling-for-the-stars-in-memory-of-the-edwards-family-tickets-50617569513?aff=efbeventtix

What we're about

The purpose of this group is to connect jeep owners and enthusiasts for social events and wheeling events in Maryland. We are attend larger group events as well as smaller local social activities where jeep enthusiasts can share ideas about everything related to maintaining older jeeps to having fun in newer ones. So if you are either starting your first jeep project or have enjoyed jeeps for many years this is the group for you. All are welcome.
