Secrets of Healthy Indian cooking--Learn from Mukti

  • December 2 · 6:30 PM
  • Mukti's Kitchen

Indian food can often be spicy, but that does not necessarily make them hot. There are literally thousands of dishes -- both vegetarian and non-vegetarian -- that are totally mild. They are mild, any American or European can taste them, and savor them. Spices such as turmeric, ginger, cumin, coriander, cinnamon or the exotic five-spice mix have both health benefits and wonderful flavor and taste. Once you know how to use them in the right proportions and order, you wouldn't want to cook anything else.

We invite you to bring a notebook, so you can take all the secrets back home with you and delight yourself and those you love.

Menu:

1. Coastal shrimp Curry (Shrimp with coconut, cooked with aromatic Indian spices

2. Kashmiri lamb Kabob(Minced lamb with marinated masala)

3. Mung Lentil curry (Small mung lentil cooked with peas and coconut)

4. Dahi Okra(Okra cooked with onion, ginger and yogurt masala)

5. Pulao( Basmati rice with carrots, peas, onion and cashews)

We invite you to bring a notebook, so you can take all the secrets back home with you and delight yourself and those you love.

What you will get:

*Tips and tricks about the spices that you will be using, you will be cooking too

*Friendship, fun and delicious food (complete dinner)

*I will teach you the nuances and secrets, where to get the masalas and how to keep the aroma intact.

*You get the printed recipe of the dishes.

It is so much fun to make them and even better to taste. Let's all have fun together:-)
