What we’re about
Multiracial Americans of Southern California (MASC) is a nonprofit dedicated to advocacy, education, and support for and about biracial/multiracial people, transracially adopted people and their families, and interracial couples and families. We do many events throughout the year including social events like our Annual Family Picnic, parenting workshops, panels at universities and the Mixed Roots Film & Literary Festival, and more! Our events are held in downtown Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.
We also have a PLAY (Parenting, Learning, and Youth) Group for biracial and multiracial children and their families. Multiracial children can befriend other multiracial peers, and parents can find support for raising their multicultural family. Feel free to join our Multiracial Playgroup of Los Angeles meetup group, or email parent@mascsite.org to be added to our PLAY Group listserv.
Please visit our website to find out more about our purpose, events, and membership! We strongly encourage Meetup members to become members of MASC, to enjoy the full benefits of membership and support our work in the mixed race community! See our website for more info:
