I will cover basic aspects of go language in the first part. • Basic and types and functions • Structs and Interfaces • Packages • Survey of basic "batteries" that comes with go std-library. • HTTP At the end of first workshop you should be familiar with go programs, and should be able to write basic HTTP apps in go. The second part will cover concurrency and few advanced topics. Please bring a laptop with go preinstalled. Wifi may be provided, but there could be issues.
- Go Hangout
On 19th July I took a golang talk (http://www.meetup.com/Mumbai-GoLang-Meetup/events/195287702/) at Powai, and quite a few people turned up. And quite a few people could not, especially fellow BrowserStack colleagues, as we had some network outage right before the talk. I will be taking a repeat of the same talk, this time over Google Hangout, hosted from BrowserStack office in Andheri. You can come to the office, or attend the talk via Internet. I will not cover any new material, so feel free to skip if you attended it last time. The talk lasted about 2.5Hrs, so plan accordingly.
