The focus of the group would be to ensure that we all stay healthy with daily walks.
We will begin with having morning/ evening walks at Race course duration being approx 30- 40 mts ( including the five mt warm up and five minute coming down ) Each person could walk at a pace comfortable to him/ her or choose to walk with any other group members( brisk walking recommended ) Walking is said to be one of the best forms of exercise and generally ideal for most of the population and comes at no cost ! However we tend to procrastinate and postpone beginning it, one of the objectives of the group will be to motivate each other and to make daily walks a habit for the sake of our health ( physical and mental) and fitness.
We will also be sharing the advantages of a good morning/ evening walk on the forum.
In the short term most meet ups are planned at Race Course, Worli Sea face and Marine drive In the long term it is hoped that this meet up could be used as a platform for members from other locations in Mumbai to host morning/evening walks in locations closer to them they could post the event here and members could assemble at locations convenient to them
