please take note of the following information for the MH3 Run No.747 especially about the change of time.
The run will be a B to A run. Transportation from A (S-Bahn station Gauting S6) to B (start of the run) for runners and walkers will be arranged by bus.
Walkers will have a stroller friendly B to A trail.
When : Saturday August 24.
Where : we all meet at S6 S-Bahn Station Gauting (direction to Tutzing) at the P+R parking lot
What time : 4 PM (because of that extra bus arrangement)
On After : at Pizzeria Pavillon (next to the S-Bahn Station)
We need numbers for arranging the bus : please send us your feed-back in case you will join ( you will love it )
As this is going to be another passenger unfriendly MVV weekend with no regular S-Bahn services along the Stammstrecke please check the actual MVV flyer for details.
The S6 shall operate normal from Pasing to Tutzing. Regio trains starting from Hauptbahnhof do usually stop at Pasing (and they can be used with a MVV ticket). So , make your way to Pasing and jump on the S6 to Tutzing.
Or , by chance, there are S6 trains going from Hauptbahnhof (platform 27 -35) to Tutzing during the day (but not at night).
Please check it out – it is most likely easier to make your way to Gauting in time than braking our checks on trail.
On On and see you there ,
Betty Boop and B..M..W..
A trail is set by a 'hare' usually in flour and/or chalk and then the 'pack' has to try and find 'true trail' at junctions. It is like a treasure hunt/ Schnitzel Lauf. The trails are therefore ideal for all levels of running with faster runners able to run more to check out the correct way and slower runners given the opportunity to catch up. We are not a road running group and our trails often take us into the forests or even off trail completely. It is a good way to get into fun running as it tends to be quite stop and go, rather than a continuous run.
We are now on summer time. Don't forget to bring mozzie spray for the circle. There will be cars to store your bags.
We'll post info here as it becomes available for the next run.
