This tour will bring you to the beautiful castle of Neuschwanstein. Built by the bavarian king Ludwig II it is one of the most visited sites in Bavaria. So lets go there! The plan goes as follows:
We take an early train from Munich to Füssen. From there we continue first by bus and then on foot. Neither hiking experience nor special mountain equipment is needed. We will use Bayerntickets for the train resulting in ca 8 Euros for the train. The entrance fee for the castle is 14 Euros (including the reservation fee). The guided tour in the castle will be in English.
Some more information: The train to Füssen leaves at 08:52 from track 28 so please be there no later than 08:20. The train journey will take 2 1/2 hours with a change at Buchloe. If you are curious to get to know more about the castle check out their web site: http://www.neuschwanstein.de/index.htm
