On the last Wednesday of the Month, we invite you to enjoy a walk around Ferril Lake in City Park, and then learn more about the past month's space inside and outside of our solar system in the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS) planetarium's FREE "60 Minutes in Space" presentation.
This is a collaborative event with the TTWalks and Beckwourth Doers Meetup groups.
We meet at the Bear Statue on the NW corner of the DMNS, facing the mountains to the west, The DMNS parking lot and bike racks are are about 50 feet away from this statue. The DMNS after-hours entrance is usually from the west side's glass walled-entrance, except during special events, when the entrance is through the guard station's door just east of the main entrance doors on the north side of the DMNS facing the parking lot.
This walk is an open-topic walk. If you'd like to introduce a topic in our monthly online walk description, please call this Open-Topic walk's co-host Fran Rew at (303) 321-1064, and/or send her an email.
This DMNS After Hours program of "60 Minutes in Space" (http://www.dmns.org/learn/adults/after-hours/) begins at 7:00 PM. We usually get in line at 6:30 PM to make sure we are able to get our first-come first-serve seating.
