2001 Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO (map)

    39.747719 -104.942863

  • For the walk, meet Fran, Richard and TTW Frog on the outside northwest corner of the DMNS front entrance and parking, next to the statue of the Mastodon Statue facing the lake and the mountains.
  • On the last Wednesday of every Month, we invite you to enjoy a walk around Ferril Lake in City Park, and then go to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS) planetarium's FREE "60 Minutes in Space" presentation.

After "60 Minutes in Space" we'll be going to Village Inn with our evening social co-host Pam Brown for Village Inn's free pie Wednesday.   It's located at 4100 E Mexico Ave., Denver, CO 80222 ~ just North of I-25 at Colorado Blvd. and Mexico Ave. ~  The Free Pie ("Pie Rush Wednesdays") is available between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM, every Wednesday. There's plenty of time to get to the Village Inn after the Planetarium.

    WHERE TO MEET

    FOR THE WALK:
5:30 PM (Starting Point - no later) meet Fran, Richard and TTW Frog, on the northwest outside corner of the DMNS by the Snow Mastodon Statue facing the lake and the mountains.   TTW Frog is our TTWalks' mascot attending this monthly collaborative TTWalks and Museum Muser Meetup event.

6:00 PM (Halfway Point), meet at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument, about one-block west (behind) the Boathouse Pavilion located on the west side of Ferril Lake in Denver City Park.

    FOR "60 MINUTES IN SPACE:"
6:30 PM, we'll be in line inside the DMNS, next to the Planetarium's entrance doors.  "60 Minutes in Space" begins at 7:00 PM, with seating on a first-come-first-serve basis.  When you see the TTWalks' mascot, the green backpack TTW Frog, you'll be able to more easily find Richard and Fran, and the rest of the TTWalks' and Museum Muser's participants.   We'd love it, if you could  stop by to say "Hello" and have a chance to meet everyone.

The DMNS after-hours entrance is usually open on the west side's glass walled-entrance, except during special events. Whenever this entrance is closed, enter through the guard station's door just east of the main entrance doors on the north side of the DMNS facing the parking lot.

    WALK:
Our one-mile walk around Ferril Lake begins at 5:30 PM, and reaches our half-way mark at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Monument at about 6:00 PM, before returning to the DMNS to get in line for the "60 Minutes In Space" presentation by 6:30 PM for the presentation's starting time of 7:00 PM.

Currently, our TTWalks' topic for this walk is an open-topic walk.

If you'd like to introduce a topic in our monthly online walk description, please call this Open-Topic walk's co-host Fran Rew at (303)[masked] (H), (720)[masked] (C), and/or send her an email to [masked].

    "60 MINUTES IN SPACE:"
After the walk, beginning about 6:30 PM, we will be lining up to attend the first-come-first-serve 7:00 PM starting time of the FREE "60 Minutes in Space" presentation in the planetarium.

You can watch a video of each of the monthly "60 Minutes in Space" presentations online by going to the DMNS's website at
