Music Cleveland!

Mission Statement

Musik, Musique, Ceol, Música, Glasbaand, Mużika – sweet sounds in any language. Music is indeed the international language that crosses borders, traditions and taste.

Our new MeetUp group – Music Cleveland! – will celebrate the many unique sounds that make up the music scene in Northeast Ohio. We are blessed with a wide and diverse ethnic base along with a rich history of old-world music, rhythm and blues, rock-n-roll, classical, folk and jazz.

We are proud to live in the home of the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra, along with a vibrant and under-appreciated Jazz tradition. If you’ve never been to the Rock Hall, Severance, Blossom or Nighttown, this is the group for you.

Music Cleveland! was formed out of several years of discussions with members of the very popular Independent Movie Group (IMG). We will incorporate some of the aspects that have made IMG so successful in the past – an event paired with dinner and fellowship at a fine restaurant convenient to the show stage. Most dinners will be held before the concert/performance according to time constraints.

We will do our best at trying to acquire some special advantages for members attending our selected performances. While we do not guarantee special perks, we will strive to obtain: preferred seating, discounted tickets with early purchase, meet & greet access to the performers, dinning discounts, and complementary offerings, and VIP treatment. These will be member-only benefits.

ANNUAL Dues are $10 and may be paid by PayPal (send as Friends & Family (to avoid fees) to, mail or in-person in cash or by check or credit card. Most concerts are restricted to current members only. Events with limited seating/tickets may require that members be current before making reservations.

Identifiable photos on member profiles are required along with actual names - first name only is acceptable.

Music Cleveland! will aspire to schedule a sampling of the many rich sounds of our great community. Pleased don’t be shocked if we throw in a dance performance just on a whim sometime. Occasionally, we also may venture to other regions for special performances such as the PointFest or Alive Christian music festivals or the Dublin Irish Festival (Ohio). We remain open to member recommendations and welcome those with an interest in organizing and hosting events.
