A New State Initiative will connect Californians with local governments and nonprofits. This is a public service: This is ongoing and with shelter-at-home you can volunteer from your home - the recommended way. I've signed up to sew face masks and to call seniors. As the stay-at-home orders decrease there will be more opportunities out in the community and I'll keep you posted for any actual ones to meet. Go to: https://californiavolunteers.ca.gov/get-involved/covid-19/ You can make a selection of where you'd like to volunteer, and they'll get back to you. If you speak another language they need translators. As soon as a date opens up and California establishments open, we'll update. Their Happy Hour - noon to 6pm Monday through Friday, and they have select wines and one sparkling for $8-$10, with 16 oz.
