Welcome to the travel group. Do you Want to travel and hike with like minded folks but don't know where to go ? This is the place for it. We will do hike , bike and road trips . We will travel for a day , over a weekend or longer.

During our travels, we plan to share muslim culture ( when we are not hyper-ventilating after long walks) for those, who dont come from that background. So you are VERY welcome to join this group , doesnt matter who you are.

It's based in Brussels but not limited to Brussels. We are an international group with people from diverse backgrounds.

Lets go hiking- Comblain au Pont loop

Gare Bruxelles-Centrale

asalam o alaikum folks Lets explore the area around beautiful town of Comblain au pont. We will start from rivage and go south east and after crossing the river, we will move east and then complete the loop by going west . The area is green and surrounded by gentle hills. We might get to see ruins of Amblève Castle. We will pass through beautiful villages during our walk. It will be approximately 23 km walk though open fields and woodlands . i will post weather forecast nearer to time. . Length: ~23 km · Time: ~6 hours (including some short breaks) · Total ascent: 800 m . Max altitude : 300 m Trains: Departure from Bxl - 9:00 am train from bxl central arriving at 10:29 to rivage . Take the train IC 507 direction Eupen (change in liege. wait time in liege is 6 mins only) Arrival in Bxl - 17:32 Pm train from rivage, arriving at 18:55 PM to Bxl central (change in liege. wait time in liege is 7 mins) OR take 18:18 from Rivage, arriving in Bxl central 19:55 You can board the same train from any other station in Bxl. If in doubt, ask me. If you are joining from any other city, please make sure that you are there in Rivage by 10.30 AM Tickets Railpass is a cheaper option if you are a regular hiker. Else, buy the return ticket to Rivage. WHAT TO BRING Good hiking shoes (better if water proof), warm clothes, rain jacket, water (1-2l) and food/snacks for the way. In September,2019 - Lets trek Sierra Nevada (spain) and explore malaga

Interested in trekking and islamic history? Explore Malaga, trek Sierra Nevada and See Traces of Abu Abdullah, the last muslim king in andalusia We will be trekking in sierra nevada mountain range in spain through beautiful villages and hills, olive groves and chesnut trees. We will get to see the moorish castle and other reminants of last king of Granada Abu abdullah , as he stayed in Alpujjarras after fleeing granada. The whole area has a great moorish style Trek will last for 3-4 days and we will then explore malaga over the weekend and see the twin moorish castles and old town malaga. The Details The itinerary is as follows -Travel to Lanjaron on Monday 23rd. Couple of nights in Lanjaron - Trek around the beautiful olive groves and horse trails connecting villages including the taha and piqora. -Move to Capiliera. - 3 nights in capiliera. Optional summit of mulhacin (3400 meters). See the best views of sierra nevada.
