Muslim Friends in London is a MeetUp group for anyone who wants to expand their Muslim social circle, whether you're Muslim or non-Muslim.
The aim is to arrange a variety of laid back get-togethers in London and the surrounding areas where people can socialise and have some fun.
So whether you’re 20 or 60, a student or a CEO, British born or moved here from aboard – come along to a MeetUp and share some laughs!
We have implemented a three strike rule. This means that if any member RSVP's to more than three events and does not turn up to either of them, they will face repercussions.
We will be aiming to balance the female:male ratio on all events based on feedback from members. We will do this by shifting members to 'not going' until we have reached an equal number of females and males. Members will be notified by messages as and when their RSVP is amended.
If you ever need an excuse to get fit, this is it, it's never too late to get fitter and healthier with your fellow Muslim friends إن شاءالله

Event host Kassim:[masked]
Muslim Friends in London has been invited to join the annual picnic at Regents Park, this event is being promoted on London Muslims Meetup and Connecting Muslims. As an inclusive event, it is open to all - all ages, genders and races. Previous years, I lost count at 100 people so between all the groups we had a good turn out.
Very simple concept, picnic in Regents Park – have a miggle, eat, drink and play a few games.
Event hosts will do doing thier usual act of helping members network so have a word with me or other events if there is someone you want to talk to.
Please bring along whatever you can, some snacks and drinks to share. If anyone wants to bring along a football, frisbee, volleyball, slackline, board games - that would be wonderful but do let me know so I can inform the other group.
The picnic point will be in close proximity to the mosque - exact location to be confirmed closer to the time but the last few years its been behind the mosque.
