For those who would like to join, going on my walk enjoying good company, and nature making walking a pleasurable experience whilst making new friends in a relaxed atmosphere. I am a nature lover and find that the nature has a lot to offer us, revitalising our mind and body.
Come and join me and perhaps we can explore the wonder of nature together, with company of others.
Walks are not just for spring/summer, but throughout the year including Autumn and Winter. We are all working towards a great summer of walking, so please join to build up your stamina for then!
Moderate to slightly harder walks between 6- 15 miles. If you are a serious rambler wanting to join long difficult walks we have a few members on here that are engaged with that, and you may join them.
I have created this group so that the Asian community or from any background start thinking about their health and well-being, as so many illnesses stem from not being active enough, one form of exercise that we can all do is walking. To make less of a boring thing to do, you can actually make it fun by getting to know other people. I love to be part of all communities and welcome anyone to join as there is nothing like spreading love in the world ❤️. Let’s do it together with our motivation and build the bridges of hope and peace.
I am here to share your thoughts and what you would like to see happening in this group, maybe the girls would like to have a walk combined with a photo shoot? Or exploring beautiful places, having group walks and picnics, or just enjoying walking, organising other activities together as a group. If you would like to have fun times with likeminded and be part of a group that wish to enjoy good times together, then you are in with the right group. Bringing diversity helps us to learn from each other and we build friendships, it helps us grow as human beings and having respect for one another.

I am not a trained lead walker, walkers are responsible for their own safety on these walks. It is your responsibility to wear appropriate walking/hiking footwear and appropriate hiking wear. The group does not cover any insurance, it is also your own responsibility to see you are fit for our walks.

Pretty flat, slight incline depending which route we take that day. (If you wish to do a shorter walk let me know, and if there are enough people for the 6 mile I may split the group).
Some of our members have been here and thoroughly enjoyed the walk, hence would like to return. A nice walk to kick start your healthy lifestyle!
Please wear appropriate walking/hiking footwear, layered clothing as it gets warm when your walking. Bring your own water, packed lunch/snacks.
If we can car share wherever possible and contribute towards the travel/parking costs with the person offering transport.
The finish time is approx, we may finish earlier. Some people may wish to go for a curry or a coffee afterwards, again we will all decide on the day what everyone wishes to do!
A national trust 8 mile walk
Free but you may like to donate a small amount to help them reserve the area for walkers. Terrain is moorland walking, you must be in strong walking boots and appropriate walking clothing. Take in the view over Wessenden, you may also spot a hare.
