What we're about

Salam

This meet up is dedicated towards promoting co operation and a sense of togetherness among Muslims and above all promote cross culture dialogue and just to get people mixing with each other.

The ethos of this group is to facilitate social networking (I don't mean Facebook) lol. Meeting people should be more fun in a relaxed, friendly Halal environment.

My vision for this group is clear and simple. To provide a platform for Muslims of all cultures and nationalities to interact with one another. I would like to provide a platform for all Muslims to come together network, mingle with each other; feel a sense of belonging and togetherness which once was so strong and now I feel seems to have fragmented.

Muslim Unity is very important. I firmly believe the only way to resolve differences, tensions and misunderstandings between different groups within our community is to encourage dialogue and communication in a way that is open, honest, civilised and peaceful so that we can all understand each other better. The focus is on things that bring us closer together as Muslims and as Human Beings.

These Meet ups will always be informal and involve fun activities like bowling, pool, Cinema, eating out, theatre or day trips. I have lots of ideas and open to any suggestions about activities or events. I would even love to provide a platform for Muslims to showcase their Business or work (art work/poetry song or dance) if you are talented I would love to hear from you and more than welcome to join our Group.

Can i also stress that venues for meet ups will vary, some may be in my local area (Harrow) however Central London, North, East and West London can also beconsidered depending on availability, and demand.

Some ground rules

1) RACISM will NOT be tolerated in this group. Anyone found indulging in this kind of behaviour or making such comments or even making jokes deemed to be offensive/racist will be asked to leave the venue and/or removed from our group.

2) ZERO TOLERANCE towards any form of bullying/ harassment or abuse of any kind

3) No drunkenness, fighting or provocative behaviour

Thank you
Kamal Razvi
