    The ride has two parts, Part one: Part 1 is a leisure ride , We explore some of Ubin's mixture of asphalt and wide dirt tracks around the island which we also use as a warm-up. Part Two: For those who want to challenge themselves. After Part 1 , we then head to Ubin's famous Ketam MTB trail, an MTB dedicated single track trail. Ride Difficulties : 2 of 4 (For the part 1), 4 of 4 (for Part 2) Start: 7:45 am , meet at Changi point ferry terminal , 800 am heading for Pulau Ubin End: 13:30pm (Estimated to get back to Changi) Who can join: All MTB rider, Novice are welcome to join part 1 What you need: 1. A MTB with knobby tyres, be it a hard tail or full-suspension bike heck even a fatbike will do. 2. Helmet, no helmet no ride. 3. Water or any fluids for hydration and some snacks for the break/ 4. Spare tube or patch kit, pump, and some tools in case you get into trouble with your bike. 5. First aid kit, in case of emergency. 6. Rain coat or Jacket in case of rain. 7. Some change of clothes(for post ride). FAQ Q: Can I join halfway the ride? A: Sure, we'll try to stick to the schedule mentioned above. Q: Can I join but break off at middle of the ride? A: Sure, but just make sure you inform the host and organizers before hand. Q: What happens if rains? A: If it rains before the ride, we'll try to wait it out and delay the start of the ride.     This is the all anticipated Intermediate Cycling Series following the very successful Foundation Cycling Series in early 2019. Basic Information: This series is specially created by MBG for cyclists with basic skills level and wish to improve to moderate level. By that it means, wishing to take part in rides ranging in speeds between 28kmph and 32kmph consistently, or ride grade between 3.5 and 4; and riding in excess of 60km in distance within Singapore or wishing to ride overseas at longer distances. The objective: Consisting of Eight [8] rides in total over a period of 10 weeks; with the final ride to Kluang in Johor, about 125km on 5th Oct 19'. This series is a good preparatory training for cyclists who are planning to ride the Double Century (320km)! Ride Detail: Ride no. 1 of 8: Riding Grade: 3.5 (moderate) Rolling speed between 28kmph and 32kmph Route: Start at McDonald's Marine Cove>ECP service road>NSRCC>TMCR>Changi Village (breakfast point); Return same route; end McDonald's Marine Cove.     Ever thought of how people self-support their bike trips overseas? Now you can give it a try. We are doing a self-support ride to Kukup, stay 1 nite and return. We will be going at a comfortable pace of 25-30kmh and will be carrying our own baggage. As there is no support car and to ensure everyone has an enjoyable journey, we have the following criteria: * Able to go at stipulated speed in the group with your bag - not faster nor slower * Able to fix your own bike especially change tubes and simple tuning to keep you going * If for whatever reasons you are not able to carry on, you need to find your way back and the group to proceed * Adventurous, fun-loving with a self-less nature (this is not Chan-Brothers tours) ==Logistics information== * Max 15 participants (excl organisers) * We have space for 5 singles and 10 twin sharings * Est cost - $40 twin sharing, $60 single * Hosts will plot the route to ensure adequate rest points. * Excludes drinks / meals * Most bikes welcome as long as you can keep to speed. * Sorry we cannot accept recumbent, electric bikes or e-scoot.
