This group is for anybody who wants to practice and improve their target language. This is a space for you to find other people to practice and improve your target language, whether it is Spanish, English, French, Japanese, Chinese, Hebrew, or any other language.

Meetup members and organizers must be at least 18 years old. While family activities are welcome, events should not be aimed at children. Any children present at a Meetup event must be supervised by a parent or guardian.

Talk To Me In Spanish: Spanish for Kids Level I

Online event

If you're interested in having your children learn Spanish come and check out our Level I Spanish for Kids sessions! This class is for children who have little to no prior exposure to Spanish.
Each of our sessions is 12 weeks long and $25 per class ($300 for an entire session).

Spanish for Brand-New Beginners

If you are interested in learning Spanish for work, school, or fun come check out our Spanish for Beginners classes.

This is a 12-session class. The investment for this class is only $300. The value is even greater. The instructor will be Gregorio Webster.

This is a virtual class. The sessions will take place on Zoom.

Here's the description of the class:

In our Level 1 class, you will achieve the following:

1. Mastery of how to speak with others in the Present, Past and Future tenses, using the rules of conjugation for all REGULAR VERBS.

You will learn how to say:

I (do/did/will do the verb)
Example: I don’t eat meat.
I ate already.
I will eat later.

You (do/did/will do the verb)
Example: You send me a lot of texts.
Did you send me a text?
Will you send me a text, please?

He/She/”It” (does/did/will do the verb)
Example: He forgets his phone a lot.
She forgot her phone.
She will probably forget her phone.

2. Expertise in speaking with others (all tenses and voices included), using the Irregular Verbs:

ESTAR - to Be
SER - also “to Be” (...you will learn the difference)
IR - to Go
TENER - to Have
HACER - to Do / Make

If you're interested in learning Spanish but have no prior experience, we're opening a new Brand New Beginners session on May 15th from 11:00 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.
