  • Hello everyone! Its that time again, get your little ones ready to explore mother nature with this easy 3.5 mile round trip hike with 375 feet of elevation gain to a 40 foot tall waterfall that fills up a wide waist-deep pool that you can rest alongside or get in. The waist-deep water is so refreshing, you are likely to see hikers in bathing suits on a warm day. Due to our severe drought the waterfall might be affected. Please allow 3 hours for this hike with watermelon for all at the end.

**Please note: This is a hike intended for kids so the pace will be slow**

**Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian**

Things to bring: Hats, sunblock, long sleeve breathable shirt for sun exposure, extra socks/clothes/shoes in case they get wet, snacks or a light lunch, water, child carrier (optional) if you have kids under 4, camera, comfortable walking shoes

How get to the trail head: Take the Altadena exit off the 210 Freeway in Pasadena. Head north on Altadena Drive. The Eaton Canyon Nature Area is a couple miles up the road past New York Drive and turn Right in to the Veranada ave and find parking.

Meeting place: After you find parking we will meet by the Education center, I'll have a grey Deuter child carrier

Hi. Everyone. Sorry to cancel. My son has a stomach pain and threw up from this early in the morning. I guess he got sick from Knott's berry farm where we went yesterday.

Tomorrow's weather will be 80°, don't forget the sunscreen, hats and water. Please remove yourself if you don't think you'll be able to make it, thank you.

Can this hike handle a stroller for my 3 yrs. girl? I've always wanted to do this one.

I hope we make it! If she can't make the whole hike I will have no problem turning around w/her. I wouldn't want you to have to carry her too much.

If you're joining this hike and don't have kids with you, be prepared to take it really slow and have constant stops. This won't be a fast paced hike so please be aware of that. If everyone is ok with that I'll see you all Sunday :)
