Hello everyone! Its that time again, get your little ones ready to explore mother nature with this easy 3.5 mile round trip hike with 375 feet of elevation gain to a 40 foot tall waterfall that fills up a wide waist-deep pool that you can rest alongside or get in. The waist-deep water is so refreshing, you are likely to see hikers in bathing suits on a warm day. Due to our severe drought the waterfall might be affected. Please allow 3 hours for this hike with watermelon for all at the end.
**Please note: This is a hike intended for kids so the pace will be slow**
**Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian**
Things to bring: Hats, sunblock, long sleeve breathable shirt for sun exposure, extra socks/clothes/shoes in case they get wet, snacks or a light lunch, water, child carrier (optional) if you have kids under 4, camera, comfortable walking shoes
How get to the trail head: Take the Altadena exit off the 210 Freeway in Pasadena. Head north on Altadena Drive. The Eaton Canyon Nature Area is a couple miles up the road past New York Drive and turn Right in to the Veranada ave and find parking.
Meeting place: After you find parking we will meet by the Education center, I'll have a grey Deuter child carrier

By signing up for this hike, or any other event organized by me, you are acknowledging that you are aware and have made your guests aware of the risks, dangers and hazards associated with any outdoor activity and freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards, and further agree to release and discharge the organizer (me) of this hike from and against any and all liability arising from your and your guest's participation in the group activities.

With that said , our MISSION on this hike is no one is left behind, We all get back safe with no injuries. Hiking is recreational and we are there to have fun in a safe and healthy manner and healthy environment enjoying each other's company and also learning from each other as we venture out into the wilderness. :)
