For anyone looking for a conditioning walk, who is thinking of taking on hikes, which have some elevation, this could be for you! I do this 3-4 times a week. The first few miles are uphill and the last few miles are downhill. If it is a clear morning, we'll see the ocean from the top. This walk goes up and out of the Rose Bowl, through Linda Vista and up and over to La Canada, back through Glendale and looping behind the Art Center to come back down to the Rose Bowl. For those who are in good condition, it might be fun to explore the neighborhood and for those who would like to tackle bigger hikes, it's a great opportunity for a workout to get you ready!
