Wildlife Photography at Potter Marsh

We'll meet at the Potter Marsh Boardwalk for an evening of wildlife photography. There should be a wide variety of bird species and possibly other animals as well. It'll be a great time to photograph, meet other nature photographers in the area, and have a fun time!

I enjoyed meeting the group. I took over 400 pics and ended up with a couple of good ones. Still getting familiar with my camera.

Is it a good idea to bring along a tripod?

If you have a heavy lens, most definitely.

I would love to come; however, I have two things going on...one - sadly my dad is hospitalized and not expected to come home and two - even if I'm able to come I won't know until 5:00 PM or so the night before. I will try to accept when I think I'll be able to come but realize I may have to cancel (but not have time to change my RSVP). Have fun everyone.

That is completely understandable. Do what you need to take care of your father.
