Subj: Eno RIver MST Bridge Construction/trail work this Saturday Dec. 7th CANCELED due to weather- rescheduled for Dec. 14th 2013

Hi All,

The forecast for this weekend is now quite wet and cold - not good for trail work so we are CANCELING this Saturdays workday, and RESCHEDULING it for Saturday, December 14th, 9AM-4PM, meeting at River Forest Park.

For that workday we have three projects lined up - completion of the bridge, trail maintenance, and also helping out the North Carolina Plant Conservation Program and the Eno River Association. See below.

The Eno River Section of the MST trail covers crosses land with a range of different types of underlying rock, resulting in different soil types including some that are quite rare. Thus hiking the trail you can see a range of plant life, a range of flowers in the spring and summer. Thus it is great to be able to work with these other groups to help protect biodiversity.

Sorry about having to cancel for this Saturday - hopefully the weather will be better on the 14th when we will need a lot of volunteers.
It will be your choice - you can work on the bridge, work on the trail, or work on plant management.

Best wishes

Fred
