Meeting Thru-Hikers

From: Will & D.
Sent on: Monday, July 14, 2014 10:40 PM

On Sunday afternoon, Will Farmer saw a couple with back packs walking on Thompson Mill Rd near Hwy 98. I stopped & asked if they were MST Thru-Hikers. Yes was the answer, so I offered lodging for the nite, but they were being picked up by friends.

Kate Dixson was copied on a message I sent to Jeff & this info was made available. A really good read about the MST! Paste the LINK:

Probably a good idea, when possible, to approach back packers near the MST & ask if they are Thru-Hikers & in need of some assistance.

LATER, WILL
