First Fridays at the Greensboro Cultural Central

First Fridays at the Greensboro Cultural Central,  storytellers from the Triad Story Exchange perform from 6 - 8 p.m. Local storytellers present a wide range of stories that engage audience members of all ages in an interactive creative process that brings to life characters, events and places long ago and far away from fiction and legend as well as real life experiences and cultural sharing. Using music, props, and dramatic action, the storytellers perform compelling stories that entertain, inform, inspire and connect people of all cultural backgrounds through the ancient oral performance art of storytelling.

Donna, sorry for not catching this yesterday. For the First Friday storytelling we meet a the African American Atelier in the City Arts building (which is kitty corner to the Museum on Davie St.). Some place we have Thursday meetings just in a different room. Sorry for the confusion!

What a fun and different First Friday! We combined dance and drum music with some holiday stories! For all who can make it we're having holiday potluck on the 19th in the City Arts Building in leu of our regular meeting--although I'm sure some stories will be told!
