DURHAM, N.C. (Aug. 18, 2011) - Enoch Moeller, operations manager of the Google data center in Caldwell County/Lenoir, led a lively discussion at the monthly meeting of NCTech4Good about Google’s services and applications that are available for qualifying nonprofit organizations.
The meeting was held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the studio and administrative office of WUNC-TV in the Research Triangle Park.
It was among the most successful events of the year, attracting 35 in-person attendees and 12 who participated online from all over the country through ReadyTalk.
Moeller's topics included information about Google’s products and services, including:
* Google AdWords
* Google Apps for Nonprofit (complete suite for collaboration)
* Google Earth
* YouTube Nonprofit Program
* Google Checkout
* Google Analytics
* Google Groups
* Cloud-based software (Google Cloud Connect?)

NCTech4Good is the regional network for sharing knowledge about technologies that can advance the missions of non-profit organizations. This sharing occurs during monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., usually at United Way of the Greater Triangle in Morrisville.
Besides its monthly meetings, NCTech4Good hosts an annual spring conference for non-profit personnel from around the southeastern states.
NCTech4Good is supported locally by the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, United Way of the Greater Triangle and the Public Information Network, Inc. (also known as RTPnet).
