Powering Mobile Applications with Windows Azure Mobile Services

Learn how you can leverage Windows Azure Mobile Services, Microsoft’s Backend as a Service offering, to build truly compelling mobile application experiences for Windows Phone, Windows 8, iOS, Android, and HTML/JavaScript applications. This will be a demo-rich session, where you’ll come away amazed at how quickly and easily you can leverage a robust cloud-based infrastructure to support all of your mobile application needs

John Garland from Wintellect will be stepping in as speaker.  John has spoken to your group a couple of years ago.  He's a very good speaker and knows his stuff.

Before the presentation we were talking about home-PC cloud backup solutions. In addition to the popular Carbonite and Mozy solutions, we also discussed one that I was using to backup my content to my own Azure Storage account, but I couldn't remember the name.

Anyway, the tool I use is called Cloudberry Backup and is available at http://www.cloudberrylab.com/
