Enjoy listening to Lempner Jazz band while sampling award winning fine wines and socializing with familiar and new friends. The Tasting Room serves a seasonal menu of heavy appetizers and desserts meant for sharing. For those who do not prefer wine, choose from a selection of import beers, soda, or coffee. Part living room, part French countryside chalet, part art gallery envision the perfect setting for an evening with friends. According to the reviews we may need to order our wine and food at the bar.
Double doors opening to a colorful outdoor sitting area surrounded by beautifully decorated gardens and casual yet elegant gathering places throughout a seven acre setting, enhanced by hundreds of twinkling lights, vast views of the evening sky await us.
I just spoke to one of the Managers at Thorncreek Winery and that is a very popular venue and especially with it being Labor Day weekend, plus our group of around 80 people. Thorncreek Winery does not take reservations, weather permitting we will probably be outside. They will have staff outside to wait on us, but we may need to order some of our drinks at the bar. They will do the best they can to accommodate us. I would advise everyone to arrive early, even before 6:00 because once they have reached their capacity they will close the gates.
Weather permitting, I will try to reserve an outdoor spot meetup. http://www.thorncreekwinery.com/index.html http://www.myspace.com/intransitjazz
