Distance: 3.5 miles
Description: This park contains several small tributaries that flow southeast to Swine Creek. Many marked trails in the hardwood forest lead up and down ravines that were formed by these streams, providing a varied terrain. At times, horseback and wagon riders will use some of the trails, so hikers should use caution.
Directions: From I-271, take Exit 29 (Chagrin Blvd./SR 87); east on SR 87 into Geauga County and through Newbury, Burton, and Middlefield; continue about 2 miles past Middlefield; right (south) on Hayes Rd. for 1.5 miles; pass Bridge Rd.; right into park entrance; immediate left (south) past parking area on right to parking at end of road.
Meeting Area: Please meet at Swine Creek Lodge (from parking area cross the bridge over a large pond)
Dogs: Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome
Kids: Not stroller friendly, otherwise use your judgement as to whether this hike is right for your child
