Description: Acacia Reservation, a 155 acre green space oasis, is located in the City of Lyndhurst. The west branch of Euclid Creek flows northwestward through Acacia Reservation to join the main branch in Euclid Creek Reservation. It was formally a golf course and is located directly across from the Cleveland Clinic Beachwood medical building. I will be leading this hike while recovering from yet another surgery on my femur thus this will be super slow and we will be stopping to smell the roses. This is the perfect hike for the absolute beginner and those of you nursing injuries or having disabilities of your own. I, for one, am sick of not being on the trail because of my injuries and am starting these rehab hikes so that I can enjoy the many beautiful trails in Northeast Ohio despite my current physical condition. I hope some of you will decide to come out and join me.
